Geogrid is designed to anchor a wall into the backfill. It is suggested for walls over three feet in most applications. Shell Rock Products handles two grid brands: Tensar, for Mesa Wall Systems and SRW, a universal grid.

Geogrid should be installed without any folds in order to maintain the hold of the wall. Talk with a sales representative about your retaining wall so a grid design chart may be matched to determine grid lengths and placement layers.
